It is very early morning.

This is one of those days where, again, without an alarm, I woke up well before sunrise and decided, let's not wait.

Let's head on out.

It is a crisp morning, as it tends to be this time of year.

Got slight breeze,

and it looks like the day is transitioning from clear skies to cloudy, at least at the moment.

I have never quite understood how meteorologists determine whether a day is partly cloudy or partly sunny.

Is there a percentage? Is it how many, how much of the sky is covered in clouds?

Because right now as I look up and look around, it's like this half is cloudy.

This half, skies are clear, but at the moment the clouds are starting to win.

So I'm going to go with partly cloudy, and you might be able to hear it's a little breezy as well.

When I was in elementary school, I walked to school every day.

I didn't take a school bus until I was in junior high school.

That's what we called it then.

Now it's middle school.

Took the school bus for the three years in middle school and then actually walked again

when I was in high school.

But this story was when I was in elementary school.

And the school was probably mile from the house.

So yeah, I walked a mile to school every day as a kid.
