Welcome back to Let's Talk. My name is Melissa Kruger and I'm here with

Jackie Hill Perry and Jasmine Holmes and we have been gathering together to talk about all sorts of topics over the past few weeks.

Today I'm excited about what we're going to talk about because we're going to talk about mentoring

and when we talk about that topic we probably need to say we're not talking about you know a work mentor or someone who's teaching us a skill or something like that we're talking about a spiritual mentor, which sometimes that's called

discipleship, sometimes I've heard it called spiritual mothering, especially with women.

I've heard it called all different sorts of things, but what I thought might be interesting, I'd love to hear who has

disciples you or mentored you in the faith and kind of showed you, what I like to say

it is, it's like it puts flesh on the Christian life and it says this is what it looks like.

So I hear the command be kind but sometimes we see it lived in a life and that teaches us more than the be kind sometimes can. So who have you who's

mentored you in the faith? I had a particular friend miss Pat I was like 17.
