Simple Families is an online community for parents who are seeking a simpler, more

intentional life. In this show we focus on minimalism with kids, positive parenting,

family wellness, and decreasing the mental load.

My perspectives are based in my firsthand experience raising kids, but also rooted in my PhD

in child development.

Hi. Hi, happy new year. I hope the beginning of 2020 is getting off to a wonderful

start for you. In today's episode we are talking about community, which is the word of the year here on

simple families. Community is something that I want to lean heavily on this year with Simple Families.

Simple Families is plural as in more than one family.

And I want to hear from you.

I want to hear more of your stories.

We're going to be doing more journey towards

simplicity where individual families share their journey towards a

simpler life. And I'm also going to be doing weekly Q&A

episodes where I am answering your questions specifically.
