friendly garden. But when you put all of those individual actions together, the impact can be even greater.

Consider finding a local conservation group that's doing work that matters to you.

Beach cleanups, volunteer bird surveys,

keeping local parks beautiful, or educating young people.

Local groups can use the time and talents of people who care. If you can't find opportunities that fit your schedule, there are other ways to support

organizations. Donations, sharing posts on social media, and letting friends and family know

about the good work a conservation group is doing all help advance their

mission. There are also great ways to get involved and volunteer right from home.

Many crowdsourced science projects depend on people working online and identifying species

and photos. This lets you take part in real biological research from anywhere at any time.
