The good news is that tonight is the 29th night of Ramadan, a great possibility of it being

Lailat al-Qadr, a night that is better than a thousand months. So anyone who says anything, does

anything, the acts of worship we do, whatever we engage in, by the will of Allah,

it will be multiplied as though we have been doing it for possibly a hundred years or more.

Because if it is better than 83 years, it means it should be clocking somewhere beyond that.

May Allah Almighty grant us acceptance.

Many times I've also made the mistake of equating this night to that of a thousand months.

But if you look at the wording of the Quran, it actually doesn't say it's equal to a thousand months.

It says it's better than a thousand months.

The night of Deg better than a thousand months. So it means it's more than that.

I used to say a thousand months. But no, it's actually more than a thousand months. May

Allah Almighty grant us from his mercy. Imagine how merciful is the Lord of the

world. He gives us opportunities to soften our hearts. He gives us opportunities to reflect and to

think about what position and what condition we're in in order to improve it, just like we would

like to see multiplication in our income, in our salaries, in our businesses, in our progress on a worldly level.

Allah wants you to progress on a spiritual level as well and in your religion, in your faith, in your connection with him.

So he gives us these opportunities.

Today, we thank Allah Almighty that he has granted us the witnessing of the entire month,

but we pray that Allah has accepted the fasting we've done, the standing in sala that we've
