After a brief chat with this Brooklyn native about her early career in various aspects of Fashion, including her tenure as Executive Director at the CFDA, Fern describes how she came up with and executed 7th on Sixth Productions or, as it is commonly referred to today, the Iconic, Cannot Live Without, Would Die to Attend, spun off in many other cities and countries, New York Fashion Week. Fern discuses what Fashion was like back in the day and how she reinvented herself into one of the top interviewers in Fashion History with her Iconic talks at the 92nd Street Y.
