Fourth and final hour, Felger and Maz, Mike's out today, so I'm in the eight-hole chair, Murray's alongside.

0:35.9

Matt McCarthy here to give us headlines.

0:37.7

McCarthy's going to stick around for the baseball reporters at 6 o'clock, too. We'll get to the Red Sox again a little bit later in the hour, but mostly football today with the Patriots opening training camp. And we'll kick it off this hour with Andrew in a car. Andrew, what do you got? Hey, guys. You're just talking about where you think they'll go, and I think there's no doubt

0:55.4

they'll be in the ASC championship again, but they're not as deep as everyone thinks. There's no tight end, and Granc made huge plays in the end of games last year. Everyone seems to forget. They went to him, even though it was a down year. no wide receivers, injury prone running backs, defense line isn't as deep

1:13.2

as it is, and same thing with the offensive line. So I really see them in the AOC chip. If everyone

1:18.9

stays healthy, Super Bowl, but if not, then they're going to have a tough time. Just like to hear

1:24.1

your thoughts on that. Thanks. Okay, so look, the health thing I think is there for every team, every year.

1:45.5

That's a given. But I feel more confident about their depth on defense than I have in a long time. Yeah. I mean, really. Especially at certain positions, linebacker at cornerback, really, all around the secondary. They're deep. Do you have their depth chart right in front of you, Mark? Give me a moment. Okay. I mean, when you rattle off the names at Defensive Back and Linebacker, you know, they're going four or five deep at Linebacker where they used to have two. So Linebacker, High Tower, Landon Roberts, Kyle Van Noy, Jamie Collins, Joanne Bentley. You want to throw Christian Sam in there and then you get further down, you know, third string, fourth string. But that's, that's pretty damn deep at linebacker. Cornerbacks, Stefan Gilmore, J.C. Jackson, who seemingly has a lot of upside and had a great second half last year. Jonathan Jones, who I like good little, you know, good depth guy. Slot guy. Jason McCordy, who I thought had a decent enough season last year. He got better his year, went along. And then, you know, you still got guys like Duke Dawson, Keon-crossing, and then further down. You know, obviously they drafted Joanne Williams or Joe Juan. Safeties, Devin McCordy, Patrick Chung, Doran Harmon, O'Bellifon-Fon-W who they ended up getting from the Raiders. So I know Greg Bedard of Boston Sports Journal is high on. Like, they're deep there. They're deep. There's a lot of bodies there. Again, I don't know if they can all play.

2:37.3

But, you know. so I know Greg Bedard of Boston Sports Journal is high on. Like, they're deep there. They're deep.

2:35.5

There's a lot of bodies there.

2:49.3

Again, I don't know if they can all play. But, you know, you sort of look at it and say, well, if you have seven, can you find three who can play? Right. Like the odds seem to suggest you can. To me, it's all about the odds today. Bob's in Easton. What do you got, Bob?

2:53.4

So it's the chair that defines the A-hole.

2:53.4

I beg to differ on that show. at the odds today. Bob's in Eastern. What do you get Bob? So it's the chair that defines the A-hole.

2:55.1

I beg to differ on that show.

2:56.0

Okay?

3:03.6

So let me, let's get down the brass tacks, okay?

3:05.2

Yeah, go. There's only one, there's only, I am.

3:07.3

There's only one team that's actually in the way of the

3:09.7

patriots and that's the patriots and in murray enough with this you're trying to be smart

3:15.7
