So my developing opinion is that I'm prone to believe the Patriots too on this one.

I am. More an innocent mistake than anything else. Football wasn't involved, et cetera, et cetera. That's where I am on it. Those are just the facts. I am a slave to the facts at the end of the day. I would love to sit here and kick the crap out of the Patriots day and day out with my highlighters and all of that. But I don't think, I don't think this is one of these cases.

I don't.

That's where I come from on this.

I don't totally though, like say that that's all in the clear.

In other words, I think there have been some half truths and massaging of the truths that get my attention that don't allow me to fully say there's nothing to see here.

And that's just a clunky way of saying, I still think they're massaging some of the stuff, which gets my antenna up.

If you've got a massage when Belichick knew about it, then what else are you massaging? And that, that one we talked about yesterday and that was just a

freaking, to me, that was just a red herring. It's just, Bill, when did you find out about this?

Well, sometime Monday afternoon. Sometime Monday afternoon. Your guy got confronted in an opposing press box on Sunday afternoon and had tape confiscated

of something he was filming.

And no one told.

That's impossible to believe.

There was a camera crew following one of your scouts.

They confronted the camera crew and confiscated his tape.

And that doesn't get to you till the next day when you start doing interviews or something?

That's a crook.

We just, come on, man.

So if you're fudging that, what else are you fudging?

And then again, in some of the stories, I just see some fudging.

The whole thing about the independent contractor is nonsense. The producer who set up the shot, set up the camera, arranged for what they were shooting, was the full-time guy. And those quote-unquote independent contractors work with the craft sports production crew. Okay? They're not out-of-towners. They're not strangers. They're not one-offers. There's who, they're on the craft crew. They're on the crew that was, that does other stuff for craft sports production. So that's just sort of a, it's a, it's a way to divert your attention or to get to plant this seed that, oh, there were actual guys who aren't even with us who were acting on their own or something. You know, like just sort of plants this seed. And it's just, I think it's extreme measures to keep Bill away from this and football ops away from this as far as possible, which I do believe that they are. I think it is a dumb mistake that happened. But, you know, look, them admitting that it was a mistake. Great. But really, like, admit to all of it, too.
