We were just commenting you and I, Flynn, during the update with Hook, you know, you look around in some of these games, I mean, half the places are empty where these things are being played. It is a little bit tough to get into it

unless you're an alum or you're, you know, following your brackets, which most people obviously do, or you're gambling on these games, which a lot of people do, but I don't know, you got no skin in the game, you're not gambling on it, you don't do a bracket like I do, it's tough to pay attention. So what I typically like, and I said this at the top of the show today,

like whether it's coworkers that might be pulling for a team or you're in a bar full of people that happen to be pulling for a team, whatever team you're pulling for, that's what I'm against. That's my fun. I like the sports schadenfreude aspect of the NCAA tournament. and otherwise, eh, I don't know.

I don't like the first couple rounds. I hate upsets. What? That boggles people's minds when I say. It's like anti-American. Oh, God, the underdog. It's so lame. Now, all these mid-majors that make runs. It's good every now and then, but not if there's like four or five.

It could be one team.

Like, well, I guess the game we're watching is Miami against Loyola. I'm trying to see where this is. It's in the South region, but empty. Miami's not going to travel. And Loyola, I think it's Loyola, Chicago. So you have these teams, they don't travel when you put them in a different region So it's a boring stale take if you go to a game And I'm just saying No, I don't I know it's like I despise the underdog in the tournament Why do I want to see a team? I thought I was a hater No, it's it's I don't want to see these teams You know the good teams get teams get knocked out. And, hook, you want all these teams.

I want everyone to lose.

If possible, that's much worse.

I have everyone to lose, which again, everyone but one team does. So eventually every fan hood is crushed. Because think about it, the closer you get to the big prize, the more excited they get. It's not like the team that loses in the championship game goes,

hey, we got to the championship game,

because they spent the last week or whatever, convinced excited they get. It's not like the team that loses in the championship game goes,

I mean, honestly, does anybody care if Loyola, Chicago makes a run? No. No. There's nobody good in that team. I didn't care if Rhode Island or Providence made a run, but oh, do you got a roof for them because they're New England.

But still, as much as much hate as I have in my heart saying that kind of stuff,

hater of the year over there saying he roots for basically against everyone. I like that hook. My hate does come in shades, though, because like Syracuse and Boston College, I hate them so much that I want them to lose as badly and immediately as possible. But the other ones, I just eventually want everyone to lose.
