It's starting at the point where you're concerned that the struggle that you guys have would leak into the playoffs.

0:25.2

Well, it'll be fine.

0:26.8

Why do you think that?

0:28.2

Because I'm here.

0:34.7

All right, big fellow.

0:38.4

Kyrie Irving after that atrocious loss in Chicago.

Another sort of, this is the season kind of game for the Celtics.

0:49.1

I think it's a little too dramatic.

If they lose, they're right where they are, which is, boy, it feels like they're in trouble,

but they can always flip the switch. If they win, that maybe begins the switch flipping process. So tonight and Toronto, 8 o'clock, that's on our sister station 105.7. So we got Celtics on the board along with Robert Kraft Thoughts and the Bruins. Mike and Newberry, lead us off this hour on the South. Go ahead. Hey, guys.

1:12.3

Watch all the games, and I'm a sports nerd.

And by looking at eye test versus Kyrie and Roseir,

1:20.5

Kyrie is 100 times better player than Rose here.

1:23.6

Look at the numbers.

Kyrie is 100 times better than Roseir.

Eventually, they're going to get down to a seven-man rotation. There's going to be three guards. Rozier's not going to be in that rotation. That's the end of the story. Okay, they've already started down that road and they've lost two straight. So, logically, I'm not arguing with you. I'm not telling you they're better without Kyrie. I'm just telling you what has happened. He bishes about his minutes at the All-Star break. He says to ESPN, I wasn't happy with my minutes with the Celtics either to start the year. I'm in my prime and why should I be cutting my minutes? And he said, I understand why Terry Rozier has a rivalry with me. A lot of people are afraid to say it. I'm not. Since he made those comments, Irving, for the first time as a Celtic, has played back-to-back games playing 40 or more minutes. First time ever is a Celtic. Terry Rozier goes to the bench and has been hot garbage. So that's been the result after that comment in those two games. They've already started towards it and hasn't resulted in winning. Not yet anyway. Yeah. Again, but does that make it wrong? Just telling you it hasn't resulted. It hasn't translated like the rest of Kyrie hasn't translated. I know. And I'm telling you that I still think the problem is that some of the young guys on this team in terms of how it's all come together on the floor. And look, there's a lot of reasons it's gone the way it's gone. But these young guys had too much success, too worldly, and they all think they're better than they really are. And by the way, so does Kyrie. So thank you. So this whole idea of like, you know, we're going to be fine because I'm here? You hate that comment. I can't stand it because it, Kyrie can't control the defensive end of the floor. That's a LeBron comment. Like LeBron could control the game on both ends. He just was that good. This guy can't do that. And the sooner he recognizes it, the better off they'll be. I don't think he believes what he's saying he is a smart enough guy i mean a lot of times he's using big words that just like don't make sense when he puts them together and i just think he does yammer on too much but he is smart and he knows what's going on with this and they're not happy when they even win and that's not just us when we watch them. Marcus Morris said it.

It's false bravado.
