Good, you. thank you so much uh again right to your phones after we give some opening takes i'll go first because these guys are still wiping down please do i'm just going to tease what i really want to get into later on in the show and that is the bruin's last night and the bruin's this season uh was that one of those nights quote unquote one of those nights Was that a statement game? Was that one of those games? One of those nights where you look at them and go, hmm, hmm, actually you might be on to something here. And we've had that, you know, every team that's any good sort of has that moment in the regular season where you just sort of stop and take notice and go, oh,

hmm, how about that?

And was that one of those nights for the ruins?

And they've certainly had them over the years as well, sort of statement games in the regular

season.

Now, usually in recent years, they've been big fight games.

You know, the great brawl with the Dallas Stars and had some Steve Ott games, a couple of those years. In the Stanley Cup year, they went out to Vancouver and beat Vancouver in Vancouver. There's just a moment where you look at the team and go, oh, okay, maybe. Maybe on to something. Was that last night? Or was it a Pittsburgh team that didn't show up in a goalie that couldn't stop a beach ball and a weird sort of night and a throwaway night because Pittsburgh didn't take it seriously. Personally, I can't declare. And if you're asking me, it's a throwaway night because I'm just not wired to look at any team, especially the Bruins, and go, oh, yeah, this is a championship team now. Like, I'm just, I, I wish I could be that kind of fan. I'm not. I am a fan, but I'm sort of on the... I'm like Big Jim Worry. I don't know. You did have that promo earlier this week. Yeah, no, thanks, too. Thanks for that. I appreciate that. But if you are one of those fans that is inclined to feel that way, was last night one of those nights. That's my opening take. Mas, what's yours? Okay, mine concerns the Patriots. And let me just say that I think this is an important off-season format. It's not off to a great start. Lost the coin flip. The Jimmy Garoppolo picked out a little bit worse. Okay, so we'll start there. And insult to injury on that. It really is, though. That is really just the entry into the bigger topic. And I said this to you in an email, I think earlier in the week or at the end of last week, that I cannot remember a time. And to me, this is now pertinent because the NFL league year begins in earnest here in, you know, 10 days, basically.

Talking not next week, the week after you're going to have the new offseason begins,

the new year begins, and the Patriots have a lot of holes to fill.

I cannot remember another time during the Belichick era where I have been more worried about the future of the Patriots than I am

right now. So to me, this is prognosis, not diagnosis, but I look at them and say, what does it

look like going forward? And for the first time, in a long time, maybe the first time ever

in the Belichick era, certainly since Brady came along, I am more worried about the Patriots

going forward than I've ever been before. And that doesn't mean that I'm panicking. I'm just saying

relative patriot to patriot. Okay, Patriot offseason and Patriot off season. Man, they got

holes in the defense. They got a left tackle who's up. Gronks threatening retirement,
