But we just didn't feel that the deals with guys either ability,

with the role they would play, with the service time that they had,

being free agents in a short time period,

merit given up the type of players that we felt,

especially under the circumstances that we're in.

I mean, we're battling for a spot.

We're probably playing first for a wild card spot, so you're playing for a one-game wildcard.

And I look at that a little bit differently as far as what you're willing to do and the risk that you're

willing to take. So I'm not disappointed because the ultimate decision is I don't know that there's

a player that was traded out there that we couldn't have acquired. It's just that we didn't like

the price that was asked. And I guess the other part of it is to know that as you talk about

our farm system over the years, we're getting asked about a lot of our players that we just didn't want to make moves on. Final here, final hour here, Felgrimaz. So that whole piece about if we were better, we would have been more aggressive. I don't like that. You're in it.
