And they bring back Rex Burkhead, running back Rex Burkett on a three-year deal, waiting desperately on those numbers. Can't wait to see them. Rex Burkett is back in the fold. Gaspard, you're not so much concern, though, about what's going on in the Patriots overall inactivity, or I look at it as

inactivity of free agency, but you do

have some concerns coming up about the draft.

They have seven picks in this draft after that deal with the Browns. And when you look at it,

I think that they need to get some impact players in the draft. And I think sometimes teams go

into an offseason and they say,

okay, we have this crying need like the Saints last year at Corner. And you can fill that in the draft.

And it's a lot cheaper and the guys cost controlled. And so if you can go into this draft and come

away with some impact guys in the first couple of rounds

instead of, you know, Cyrus Jones as a second round pick, I think you can really help your team.

And I think when you look at the, as Bill would say, the mosaic of the offseason, I think the draft is way more important for them than free agency.

Greg, where should the focus be in the draft?

Well, I mean, I think tackles now is going to have to be a priority. I think, you know, tackle, I would like to see a quarterback if they find a guy that they like with the intangibles that they like. And they can get them. They don't have to overreach for a guy. I would like to see that. but, you know, I just want to see, you know, go get a bunch of athletes, you know. And I'm not talking about guys who are just going to play special teams who aren't going to compete for a starting position or anything like that. Like, you know, let's go get a difference makers, Greg, in the draft.

Yeah. I mean, at the least, you know, where they're drafting, I just want to see some athletic ability.

I want to see some linebackers that can run and hit.

Yeah, but Dominique Easley was athletic.

It's true, but, you know, somebody without bad knees and things like that, you know,

but I just, I want to see those types of guys. I mean, you know, they got a guy, you know, they traded a late round pick for Marquis Flowers who is, you know, a good run-and-hit linebacker. Why can't you find that guy in the draft? Why are they, you know, Alanin Roberts, was he a draft pick or was he undrafted? I thought he was undrafted. Now, I think he was a draft pick. I mean, I could be wrong. I'll look it up. Just, I mean, the Patriots should be in the market, you know, for those type of guys. And, you know, they hit on some guys for a while, and then there was a lull and they need to get back into it.
