And maybe just reset here, how we open the show and our thoughts on it. I'll just go first. Since I'm here, that is, you know, First of all, it shows you the impact of him and what he meant to people and sports fans that I think he's going to, and yesterday, tragically, is going to be one of those pieces of news that you're always going to remember where you were when you saw it first. You know, I'm on the airplane and I look at my neighbor's screen and the lower third they have the news channel on Fox News I think you know Kobe Bryant dies and helicopter like I'm always going to remember that which like that's all there's only a handful of those things that you remember where you were when something like that happened but I think this is going to be one of them no question I was on the way to the airport to come here and I heard Joe Murray and Ted Johnson announce it. That's how I heard. Yeah, same. At the airport, people shocked, expletives, gasps, you know, looking at their phone, because initially you hear someone saying, you're like, no one believes it. You're looking at your phone and yeah, it's confirmed. Just sad. I mean, at 41 years and it's tragic, and, you know, the guy was complicated,

and I can understand why people wouldn't like him because of the Colorado situation.

But, you know, I think there was a real second half to his life,

and he seemed like a doting and dedicated dad, and it's just, it's horrible.

Yeah, to Murray's point, I think that the, it's complicated your reaction to the player because your feelings about the player were, well, complicated as being kind, but certainly mixed.

I mean, you know, he was reviled as a...

I mean, I was there during that series in 08 and chanting no means no.

You know, most people at the garden were saying that throughout that series. So, you know, never mind that he was a Laker. He could be kind of an A-hole, and, you know, he had the Colorado thing. And so a place like here would wrap that into one thing, and, you know, he wasn't really well-liked here. I do think he was respected as a basketball player, though. As a competitor, too. As a competitor, I think he was respected.

But certainly, you know, you had your ups and downs with that player as a person and a player.

Loved him, hated him, the off-court thing.

So that is, you know, so when that news happens, it's a complicated emotion for you.

It's not so cut and dried.

So I sort of, beyond that, what hit home to me and hits home to most people is that he was doing father-daughter stuff.
