Here's the story that bugs us.

Mike Pennell, remember him sure maybe people

played on the jets he played on the packers in the past he was signed by the patriots his off

season and sort of was front and center in the depth chart was thought to be their starting

interior defensive tackle

run stuffing defensive lineman and uh he got cut he got cut in training camp um and so and then flashed with

kansas city in the aFC championship game okay so cut by new england in the preseason he goes to to Kansas City, and is part of a Kansas City defense that is much improved and actually did a decent job stopping Derek Henry in the second half of that AFC title game, and as you said, flashed. Yeah, again, so Chris Jones missed, if you remember, the game against Houston. And by the takeout to Tennessee, Chris Jones' snaps were sort of limited. They were managing him a bit. Penel factored in there a little bit more. And the two of them did a pretty good job. I mean, Penel was noticeable in that game. You know, they highlighted him on the broadcast, but he was. He was noticeable in that game. And meanwhile, the Patriots defense got steadily worse throughout the course of the year, got gashed. But, I mean, here's the irony.

You couldn't stop Derek Henry, and the Kansas City Chiefs did.

And they sucked against the run the whole year.
