So the arrow's been pointed down on the return of sports here for the last couple days or week.

And so if sports are doomed, and I don't want to believe they are, but if they are, is there someone to blame?

And, you know, that's just a crass sports radio way to get into it.

I do think, and I do wonder if the players bear some responsibility, and this is what I'm driving at.

So, for example, you know, Major League Baseball had over 40 positive tests over the weekend.

Outbreaks on certain teams, the Phillies, most notably, Clearwater, Florida.

Several spring training sites were shut down, and that led MLB to shut down all spring

training sites and tell all teams that if they do return, that the spring training will now be

at their home parks with maybe the notable

exception of Toronto because of the conditions there.

They may come to the states and train, but every other MLB team would train in their home
