Tom, does it get harder every year to kind of leave your family to make this big commitment again every year?

I think there's, you know, the last couple years it's been really great for me to spend off-seasons with them and, you know, really fill up that bucket and give them the time and support and love they need. You know, because when I'm here doing my thing, you know, my wife's got to hold down the fort, and she has put a lot on hold over the years to support my dreams. And I feel like it's my responsibility as a husband to do the same for her. And she's happy when I get back to football

because she knows how happy I am. And, you know, it was a great offseason. But now it's

time for football. And I think everyone in our family is prepared for that. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady earlier this week. When Mike and Tony were here, they mocked it. They said, oh, it's part of the cell job. Oh, it's the media still trying to, you know, be boboes for the Patriots. And there's, oh, Tom, you're the sacrifice. they don't get it.

There was a reason a couple of seasons ago he was showing up hours, hours early, hours early before anybody else at Gillette Stadium because he wanted to get the hell out of the house and away from a certain someone.

And because I think she hates the fact that he's still playing football at this time in his life, I feel like the way that she's talked about it. And I'm just basing this on her appearances on talk shows, Chris and Ted. She's gone to these talk shows and talked about football like it's a poison. And then, you know, the head injuries and talking about the concussions that weren't diagnosed. It's like, he's going to be like, shut up, lady.
