Again, we'll go to your first segment if you're ready. But my opening take, I'll just go first because we played that scow cut. You know, he said that to us last night on TV, and I went, hum. So there's one key piece we're missing in a lot of these moves. And I've sort of alluded to it because I do think

there's a real financial component, even more so, a heightened financial issue going on across

the NBA. And I've felt this coming. I felt it on the ownership side with some of the teams

selling out of nowhere. But, you know, the new CBA and the second apron and all this, and

we'll try not to give you too many details.

But one key component to these moves that we're missing. We're not spending enough time on is the money. They're trying to get under the tax. They're trying to get under the tax. And it answers a lot of questions. Oh, they're trading market smart because he's getting in the way of Brown and Tatum. Well, yeah. but he also makes $17 million a year.

But he's also making whatever, $18 million, whatever it is. And they're trying to trim money. Grant Williams fell out of favor with Joe Missoula. Well, he wants 14 a year.

And if you, the Celtics, get under the tax this year, if they trade Malcolm

Brogden and don't replace all the money, if they let Grant Williams go and don't replace

the money, they get under the tax.

And just like baseball McCarthy, the NBA has these repeater taxes.

If you're in the tax, two, three, four, five straight years, the penalties increase.

And so the Celtics are looking out long term at their roster, Brown Tatum at Supermax levels.
