Congress spending more money and sending more money to Ukraine, as well as military hardware,

and people, Americans, paying more at the pump.

Meanwhile, Republicans are still trying to decide whether they follow Donald Trump in praising

Vladimir Putin or follow their own gut in condemning him. And here's something new. Congress actually

passed a bill this week, a big bill, one and a half

trillion dollars with another $13 billion for Ukraine and more money for the military and more

money for social programs, but strangely no more money for fighting COVID.

While Washington sleeps, state legislatures are working all night,

passing legislation on what can no longer be taught in schools, according to some parents,

nothing about race, nothing about slavery, nothing about sex, and no books with four-letter
