Avenger is a new investigative true crime podcast from orbit media.

It's one of the year's most anticipated podcast releases,

following Orbit's hit shows, My Friend, The Serial Killer, The Burden,

I really enjoyed this podcast, and I love all the other shows from orbit media.

The story in Avenger is one of the craziest you'll ever hear.

The show tells the story of Miriam Lewin, one of Argentina's leading journalists today.

When Miriam was only 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires

for her political activism and then thrown into a concentration camp by the dictatorship.

In prison, thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from cargo planes into

the ocean.

But Miriam managed to avoid that fate and became a journalist and then

waged a decades-long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. All the interviews were

done in Spanish, but the English is voiced by Emmy winner Alexis Bladel.

You might know her from the Handmaid's tale and Gilmore Girls, and she's also half Argentine,

and it's directed by Oscar winner Fisher Stevens who directed the

Cove and succession.

Avenger is about one woman's triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture
