I mean, let's think about it.

There's a guy on TV who prefaces his show

with the words, the spin stops here. And of course, in that show on that network, you'll probably

find more spin than just about anywhere. But you know what? It's everywhere. It's liberal,

conservative media, newspapers, newspaper publishers, crusading newspaper publishers,

traditionally have always tried to present a point of view in the way they cover stories,

they way that flavor them in their editorials.

Of course, you've got a well-rounded view of the world.

You read several newspapers, unfortunately, in most cities

these days, there is just one.

Like one, right. If that.

If that, or, which is worse, all the radio stations, a lot of the newspapers owned by

a small number of corporate institutions, multinational institutions, and they have one concern above all else, which is making money,

not informing people, making money, doing whatever it takes to make money.

Now, last week we had kind of a nice guy, really nice guy, Shet Sapolio, really sincere, bright fellow,

but the same thing you see in what he said is what we're talking about

here.
