And I'm Bob, senior editor with Plugged In. Welcome to the February 23rd, 2011 edition

of the official Adventures in Odyssey Podcast.

You know, we've had a lot of exciting news here at Adventures in Odyssey over the last

few weeks.

That's right. I mean, everything from album 52's Avery Award ceremony to Brock, leaking

album 53, The Green Ring Conspiracy. There never seems to be a quiet moment around

here. Well, today is no exception.

That's right. Today we have an interview of galactic proportions. Bob, did you know there's

a space shuttle about to launch any day now?

I sure did. Many of our listeners may have heard about the various space shuttle missions

in the news, but they may not have known that Adventures in Odyssey actually flew on one

of those missions last year.

Shuttle Pilot Colonel Terry Verts took several Adventures in Odyssey items with him on the

flight of the endeavor. You know, our show's traveled almost six million miles in orbit

around the earth. Wow.

Adventures in Odyssey has gone some pretty cool places before, but at this has to be a

new record.

Yeah, when he got back to Earth, Colonel Verts came to visit us, and we got a chance

to talk with him about his experiences.
