Lindsay Whalen, what a lot has happened in the last week since you last night. Okay, be honest.

When we asked you about coaching last Monday,

were you sitting in Mark Coyle's office? Had the ink dried yet on that contract?

Oh, man. Let's see. Last Monday, that was only a week ago, huh? I'm still trying to process

what all happened this last week, but I was actually, I was at the gym working out, and then, yeah, honestly, I think that

I had, we had spoke because it was then, I believe, official that Coach Stallings was leaving,

so we had spoke on the phone once, and so when you said, hey, it's, you know, it's coaching

in your interest, I was like maybe someday.

And I didn't know it would be like four days later. But yeah, it kind of worked out like that.

Pretty fun week. How did this all start? Did they call you? Did you call them? How did

the ball get rolling for this to take place, Lindsay?

Yeah, they just gave me a call and then we met the next day and things kind of just

progressed pretty quickly after that.

And so it had some great meetings and great talks, kind of shared my vision, shared what I feel like has been successful

for me as a player and as a point guard, being around Shirar Reeve, being around Gina

Ariema, being around Mike Tebow, what I saw from, just kind of what I saw from them is

things that I think will work and I think we'll work here.
