Today, Dr. Deborah Birx, member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, said of the

It's one of several milestones that we want to discuss tonight.

This week, the country reached a million cases of the coronavirus, currently more than

1.1 million cases, where the 64,000 people have died in this country every day.

Thousands of more lives are added to that figure.

Nevertheless, by this weekend, at least 32 states will have begun to partially reopen.

California's Governor Gavin Newsom saying today he is no longer weeks, but days away from

beginning to lift some restrictions to the state's state home order.

However, just to show you how uncertain the environment is, this afternoon, Mississippi

Governor Tate Reeves decided not to go forward with his plan for a partial reopening in

the state.

He said he reversed himself after the state reported its largest yet increase in new cases.

Quote in the governor, this thing is not over.

We're not out of the woods yet.

What the weeks and months ahead will look like across the nation is these orders are lifted

that we do not know.
