0:06.4	authorized the use of the Pfizer bio-entac vaccine and here in the United States
0:11.3	FDA authorization could happen as soon as tomorrow with the first shots possible in a matter of days.
0:17.0	We have just learned 2.9 million doses of the vaccine will go out in the first shipment according to the heads of Operation
0:23.4	warp speed and vaccine supplies are also shipping out today. As that process
0:28.2	plays out, the US is losing on average more than 2,000 lives every single day in the US.
0:37.0	The US is averaging more than 121,000 new cases every day.
0:42.0	And hospitalizations are also hitting daily records.
0:45.8	In California at least three counties today reported zero ICU beds available, not one. A reminder that the U.S. has 4% of the world's
0:55.4	population and according to official numbers, 20% of the world's cases and
1:00.0	deaths due to COVID. This has been empirically a historic policy failure by the
1:07.1	U.S. government which has failed its citizens in so many ways during this
1:11.4	pandemic.

1:14.0	you're getting some specifics on how this vote could work tomorrow.
1:20.4	Well, Jake, a member of that FDA vaccine advisory panel spoke to CNN.
1:25.2	He says tomorrow they're going to have a nine hour meeting at the end of that meeting.
1:29.4	They will all take a vote and presuming they majority votes in favor the Commissioner could then make a
1:36.3	final determination either Thursday or Friday meantime the syringes the needles the
1:42.3	wipes for that Pfizer vaccine are already
1:45.8	being shipped out and they will all be in place by Friday.
1:52.4	A green light for Pfizer's vaccine in the US could be just a day away.
