Israeli officials say an airstrike that damaged a refugee camp in Northern Gaza killed

a senior Hamas commander earlier today.

According to an Israeli Defense Force statement, senior Hamas commander Ibrahim Biyari has

overseen all military operations in the Northern Gaza Strip since the IDF entered.

The IDF says Biyari was behind several other attacks over the past two decades.

The strike that killed Biyari hit the intensely populated Jabalya refugee camp.

The IDF says terrorists built underground infrastructure beneath the camp using the refugees

as human shields.

The news comes after the IDF says that two of their soldiers were killed today as Israel's

ground operation moved further into the Gaza Strip.

During a hearing on worldwide threats today, FBI director Chris Ray told the Senate's Homeland

Security Committee that the Hamas attacks on Israel could motivate similar threats here

in the U.S.

Ray says that in the past few weeks, several terrorist groups have called for attacks against

Americans and the West.

The FBI director has said that lone wolf attacks are the utmost concern in the U.S. intelligence

community.

Ray, we have kept our sights on Hamas and have multiple ongoing investigations into individuals

affiliated with that foreign terrorist organization.
