Summary

Former FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker says what started under Mueller and accelerated under Comey, was to bring in people from outside the FBI, primarily the DOJ and place them in very influential positions at the top of the FBI. They also expanded the bureaucracy making it a top heavy organization. More people from the DOJ filled top FBI jobs instead of promoting from within the ranks, bringing with them their political ambitions and connections. What we see now are political ideologues entrenched in the top positions of the FBI. It’s been ten years in the making.
