all things, Pittsburgh Pirates. I will be interviewing Noah Hiles, who is the Pirates Beat Rider

for the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. Mike and Dave will join me later for a fantasy deep dive into

this Pirates team. But for right now, let's get right to it and bring in our guest. Again, we've got Noah Hiles here with us. Noah, thank you so much for joining me. How are you today? Whoa. So let's start by talking about a player who actually is not currently on the Pirates Major League roster, but is one that fantasy gamers, if they don't already, should become familiar with.

And that is Connor Griffin, who is now considered by many to be the number one prospect in all of baseball.

I know you were at the game last night watching Connor play for the Altoona curve in their playoff game. I had some nice seats there. I saw the

picture on Twitter. And you also recently wrote really a fantastic article, really doing a deep

dive into Connor Griffin and talking about some of the challenges that he's had to overcome

to get to the point where he is today.

Noah, if you could start out by just telling us about Connor Griffin, the player,

his ascension this year. And the big question that fantasy gamers are going to want to know is

when do you think we're going to see him in a major league uniform? Yeah. So Connor Griffin is a kid who grew up in rural Mississippi, about 30 minutes outside of Jackson.

It was pretty clear from a young age.
