Welcome back everyone to the Epic Gardening podcast. Hope you're doing well. Hope your

0:16.8

garden is doing well. Meg Caden is back on the show for her final episode, at least for

0:21.8

now. So you know, Meg, we've talked a lot about your garden, your approach, especially

0:28.0

when it comes to fall and extending the season, succession planting, all that kind of stuff.

0:33.0

I figure maybe why don't we just talk about some of your absolute favorite crops and maybe

0:37.6

even get into the actual varieties you like? Yeah, that sounds awesome. Favorite varieties.

0:42.5

I mean, we could be here all day. This could be a whole week probably. Oh, yeah, easily.

0:48.2

So I'll go back to cabbages. Cabbage is probably the easiest one for me to just, you know,

I've got a list of favorites. Integro is a red cabbage variety that I really love. It's

1:45.1

varieties that are both open pollinated. And one of them is called Cheafed in Savoy.

1:53.0

And I think it's a pretty, what I've read from it from Adaptive Seeds is that it used to be

1:59.7

like the standard Savoy cabbage, but the hybrid, you know, the hybrid model kind of pushed

2:06.9

this cabbage out, but it's supposed to produce just as well. So I am like super curious,

2:11.6

and I will be totally into it if it produces just as well. I'd be more than happy to grow an

2:16.2

open pollinated cabbage. So I'm really excited to try that. So that point is continue to try new

2:23.7

varieties. I'm continuing to do it. Marty, cauliflower is a cauliflower that I've had a lot of good
