Summary

Recently Self Magazine promoted their newest issue with the tagline "The Future of Fitness" and showed a picture of a morbidly obese woman as their cover model.

In their Instagram post( @selfmagazine), they shared the following: "Fitness spaces can be a final frontier in a particular strain of body discrimination, where anti-fat bias and weight related stigma are entrenched in our collective understanding of what it means to be fit. It's time to break free from this limited view."

In this episode, Sean and Sax go right at the heart of this irresponsible take on fitness and share a counterpoint that uses health, science and personal accountability as the basis of their insight.

There are forces at play that are attempting to redefine what health and fitness means, and simply put... it is dangerous. It is no longer acceptable to not speak up.
