but April recently made her first trip to visit me in New Mexico,

so that we could attend the 100th Annual Southwestern Association of American Indian Arts,

or Suayas, Indian Market in Santa Fe.

And, you know, a reminder, an estimated 100,000 people attend this event every year.

It's the largest street show of Native American art in the world.

And it features the work of over 1,000 Indigenous artists,

including many working within the medium of textiles, dress, and fashion.

In April, we saw so many amazing Sartorial displays on the streets, the runway,

and the museums.

I'm dying to know what was your first experience of the market, like overall?

Well, I would say it was a little overwhelming because of my FOMO, which was my fear of missing out,

because there was just so much to see, and honestly, like, I wish we had more time there,

because I didn't even get to see everything that I wanted to see.

So, trip to round two next year is perhaps an order, I think.
