Let's get some of Jamie Eisenberg's favorite breakouts on Fantasy Football Today Express.

0:08.8

Welcome, Jamie. You ready for breakouts? Yes, sir.

0:11.7

Woo-hoo. Are you going to keep George Pickens on your list if Justin Fields wins the job,

0:16.3

which is becoming more of a possibility now than what we thought a few weeks ago?

0:20.0

I will. I think what we saw, especially with his bank account, DJ Moore did very well with Justin Field. So he's got to throw to somebody. And I don't think it's going to be the group of Van Jefferson and Roman Wilson, who hopefully is going to be okay with the ankle injury and the rest of the receiving core they have there. So I'm perfectly fine with Justin Fields pickings combination.

0:41.9

Okay. So who else? We stay at wide receiver. I know you like the year three guys who are getting the upgrades. Anyone else you want to talk about? You mean aside from Drake London and

0:46.9

you can talk about London and Wilson? Your Wilson. The other, I mean, can I ask you a Wilson question?

0:52.0

This is a little preview. I'm going to ask you this in like an hour and a half when we're on CBS Sports Network. We're obviously putting a lot of faith in Garrett Wilson. He's a round one, two pick, right? No Rogers. He's basically never going to play with Rogers. Rogers was a bad quarterback, you know, last time we saw him, basically. And now he's not going to play in the preseason.

1:12.1

Should we really be taking Garrett Wilson, 12th overall or so?

1:16.5

Yeah.

1:17.1

I think for me, it's what he was able to look like and produce as a rookie when it was

1:22.7

the non-Zack Wilson games, you know, so it was basically 17 points per game, uh, over that stretch with

1:29.1

Joe Flacco and Mike White. And in some cases, there was, there was a stretch we was averaging over

1:32.7

21 points per game. So the catchable passes will be better. I think the targets will be better.

1:40.1

Um, I think better offence line. Everything for the Jets should be better, should be better with Aaron Rogers back.

1:44.4

So I'm not worried about Garrett Wilson at all. And if you were to miss time again, Rogers, I think about Troubaud Taylor being there is a little bit more of a safety factor as well. You should give him some competent backup play. All right. So how about Drake London? So for London, you know the addition of Kirk Cousins and Zach Robinson as the offense coordinator. I think that's going to unlock what Drake London was hopefully supposed to do when he came into the NFL two years ago, or three years ago now. So he's been miserable. You know, it's just been hard to trust. You know, you've talked a lot about his lack of explosive plays and his, you know, the role that he's had or the routes that he's run. I think everything changes this year. So we see the best of Drake London, and I think fantasy managers are certainly going to enjoy that. And I'll throw one more third year receiver in there, which is Christian Watson, who if he stays healthy can be one of the best receivers. I'll throw it too in the same range. Christian Watson and Jameson Williams. If those two guys hit to the level that they're capable of, Watson, we've seen it. So when he's been healthy, he's been very good for fantasy managers. Unfortunately, it's just been a lot of hamstring injuries, but they seems to have that figure out. At least they hope so. And then for Jameson, ACL rookie year, gambling situation last year. Opportunities there, and he's apparently killing it in training camp. So both those guys are two potential breakout candidates, but much of the lower variety based on where you have to draft them. We just did our tight ends preview. And really, I think we got some big names as potential breakouts, right? You could, I don't know if LaPorta can do better than he did, but maybe he can do better than he did. you've got McBride who could maybe do it for a full season.

3:11.2

You've got Kyle Pitts.

3:40.8

We're waiting for him to break out. You've got Dalton Kincaid. So kind of an exciting position. Hopefully they don't let us down. What do you think about those young tight ends? Excited about all three of them. It's easy to make the case for McBride. Like you said, we saw it. And, you know, the counter to that, which I know Dave would make. And I know it's a small counter because he still has him as a top four tight end. But the counter to that is Marvin Harrison's presence. And does Kyler Murray support two players at this level, which we really haven't seen consistently from him, I think he will. I think Drew Petzick's offense, we saw it last year with how the tight ends produced, whether it was Akertz or, or McBride. Kyler being there, the touchdowns will go up, hopefully can get north of six, and McBride could be the best tight end of fantasy. Kinincade is going to be one or two in targets for the bills, in my opinion, and having a good camp so far. So maybe Dawson Knox limits the touchdown potential, but I think Kincade could be among the league leaders and receptions at the position. And then for Pitts, he's the one that you're going to have to, you know, probably sell people on a little bit more because we've been burned by him for the last two years. But when he had a competent quarterback, and it was at the end of Matt Ryan's tenure in Atlanta, he had a thousand yards season. Now, granted, it was a depleted receiving core because I believe that was the year with Calvin Ridley with getting hurt halfway through the season. But in any event, there's a lot to like about Kyle Pitts if he hits,

4:32.6

better quarterback, better system in terms of opportunities.

4:35.8

And I think Kyle Pitts is going to have a breakout season as well.

4:37.7

I agree.

4:39.0

It may have been the season where Ridley had the mental health break.
