However, that does not stop the fact that we have baseball to talk about.

Let's dive right in starting, of course, with our news.

Luis Severino has been placed on the 15-day I-L by the athletics with an oblique strain.

Hogan Harris is replacing Severino on the active roster.

Harris has worked only as a reliever.

He's been a starter in the past, but so far this year, he has been only a reliever,

and that is how he will be used.

He actually pitched in the ninth inning of the game yesterday.

So, or he pitched in relief, at least, in the game yesterday. So he will be

working out of the bullpen exclusively. They will need a fourth starter. It seems like Luis Morales

is going to be taking that rotation spot. Luis Morales has slated to start tomorrow, or today, rather,

I'll talk about that in just a little bit, but it seems like Morales is going to be taking over a rotation spot following Luis Severino,

heading to the 15-day IL with an injury.

Austin Slater has been placed on the 10-day I.O. for the Yankees with a left hamstring strain.

This comes just two games after being acquired by the Yankees.

And what this is going to turn into is John Carlos Stanton taking reps in the outfield.
