Three people are now in jail on charges related to the brawl that happened early Saturday morning on 4th Street in downtown Cincinnati.

Montane's Maryweather, DeKaira Vernon, and Jermaine Matthews are the first three charged in connection to that fight, the video of which went viral.

Local 12's David Winter was at their bond hearings today.

He joins us now with new details about the fight that has

received national attention. David. Yeah, it sure has, Kyle. All three of those suspects

behind me right now in jail. Two of them were arrested by police yesterday. The third turned

himself in overnight. Germain Matthews is the man who turned himself in overnight.

He's 39 years old from Walnut Hills.

He's allegedly the man in the red shirt in the video, punching and stomping a man.

Matthew's attorney says he was involved in the fight because the man police refer to as the victim,

kicked Matthew's car and called him a racial slur.

I knew that was coming.

Yeah, I knew that's going to play.

I knew the race call was coming.

So pretty much that black dude in the red shirt, if someone kicked your car and called you the N-word,

that justifies you jumping them with multiple other people.
