My relatives demanded that I give them a family discount at my own food stall,

claiming that because their family, they deserve a discount.

But after I told them that they needed to pay full price,

they literally freaked out and left a one-star review,

claiming that my food was overpriced and that I had rude customer service.

Here's how it all went down.

So I opened a small street food stall after graduating culinary school. It's something I'd been working towards for years, testing recipes, saving up, and finally getting permits and a spot. The first week, a few cousins and an aunt showed up, and I was actually happy at first. And I really thought they came to support me. They ordered a ton of food, like enough for five people when there were only three of them. But when I gave them the bill, they all laughed at me, like literally laughed. My cousin then says, wait, you're charging us? We are family. But when I tried to explain that this is my actual job now, and everything I made goes back into keeping the stall running, my aunt scoffed at me and said, well, I guess success went to your

head. I thought we were closer than that. And sure, they paid for their meal, but with so much attitude that it ruined my whole vibe that day. Well, two days later, I noticed that someone left a one-star review on Google that said it was overpriced and that I had rude customer service. But when I checked the account, it was one of my

cousin's email. And now I just smile when relatives say they want to swing by for a bite,

because guess what? You can absolutely come by, but it's also going to be at full price.

Wow, talk about super entitled. If I busted my butt in culinary school and getting a place and getting

permits and literally saving up for years to do this one job.

And then one of my family members pulled this crap, I think I would go crazy, bro.

There's no way I would put up with that.

So you're much better than me because I definitely would have responded back tenfold.

Because this kind of behavior is absolutely atrocious.
