Nepo babies. Let's talk about Nepo babies. So if you're not familiar with the term a Nepo or Nepotism baby is basically someone who only has their job because of Nepotism or who their family is.

And this is a concept that can really apply to any industry,

but mostly it's used to refer to celebrities

who are only famous because their family happens to also be famous.

Popular examples of Nepo babies include but are not limited to Kendall and

Kylie Jenner, who of course are related to Kim Kardashian, who of course comes from the

Kardashian clan is also the stepdaughter of Bruce Jenner now what's her name?

Ah yes Caitlin Jenner I'm sorry how could I forget the stunning and brave Caitlin

Jenner we also have Lily Rose Depp,

who is an actress and obviously the daughter of Johnny Depp,

Zoe Kravitz is the daughter of Lenny Kravitz.

You get the idea, the list goes on and on and on.

And while nepotism certainly isn't a new phenomenon in Hollywood,

the idea of calling out nepo babies so frequently,

that is something that I think is being done now more than ever.

And I think that's for a couple reasons.

Number one, information is more readily available than ever.

I think in the past, there are some Nepo babies who a lot of people didn't realize

were Nepo babies just because they didn't share the last name of someone who was famous and so that familial bond probably just wasn't recognized as readily.

And number two, when it comes to people calling out Nepo babies, I think we cannot ignore

the underlying class resentment that exists. And obviously a class resentment and the strife between the have and the have nots.
