Truth is hard and it's easy to become offended.

Why do bad things happen to good people?

Why would God allow this to happen?

When the sayings got hard, some people quit.

We can turn away or we can emphasize our testimony and belief in Jesus Christ.

Walking away from the Savior will not bring happiness.

There is one voice that rings out, one name, one door, Jesus Christ.

We have a really nice classroom setting here. Imagine that we were in the premortal life.

Another nice classroom setting, we're enrolled in the class Mortality 101.

This is where we learn all about what will happen on Earth.

Your instructor hands you a thick manual called,

You're about to enter a broken world.

You open it up.

In the introduction, it says, disappointment will be

frequent. Heartbreak, guaranteed. You're hardwired for a tendency to mess things up. Pain is part

of the package, and death is inevitable. This does not seem as fun as you originally thought. When

you look at the back cover of the book, you're dismayed to see it says no refunds or exchanges.

Now, hopefully there was a different manual, but I'm guessing that knowing me, when I learned all of the details about mortality,

I might have wondered, why did I even vote for this plan? There were for sure things that didn't excite me.

The reality is we are broken people and we live in a broken world.

People have serious health challenges.
