I can't even tell you how many people who are new to astrology get confused by all the seeming

contradictions from different schools of thought or variations in different astrological terms they hear from someone or read about on the internet.

And this also gets tricky for professional astrologers when they're interpreting things for their clients,

because people come in with all these ideas about what things mean and it can get in the way of the reading itself.

Well, today's episode is going to bring some clarity to this conversation by looking deep into the past into ancient astrology.

And today I'm honored to bring Chris Brennan to you to discuss ancient

astrology and how it can be so incredibly clarifying to look at what astrologers

were doing 2,000 years ago in the Hellenistic traditions.

Chris is a specialist in cross comparing different astrological traditions

and he has a broad depth of knowledge in Hellenistic, Indian, and medieval astrology, though he mostly focuses on

Hellenistic at this point in his career. He's even written a book on this topic that

came out in 2017 called Hellenistic astrology, the study of fate and fortune.

And this book is quite the masterpiece.
