It's been a desperate time for Republicans and apparently

desperate times call for desperate measures. Republicans weren't always like

this they didn't always lie about everything. They used to believe in

things that would benefit the whole country, not just themselves. But then they

weren't under the thumb of Donald J. Trump.

They weren't always a cult, and they didn't always do whatever Trump told them to do.

But those days are fucking gone.
