And before I get started, can I just say it has been in the 80s for an entire week,

and it's going to be for many more days. Most of January here I live in Los Angeles has been

in the 80s or the high 70s.

And it is so weird.

I feel like we might miss winter.

I do love living here.

I love the sunny weather.

I feel privileged and blessed to live here.

But at the same time, it's starting to feel very strange, and I'm starting to worry. Are we just

going to skip winter altogether? Do I totally have to redesign the psychosperiritual wheel of the year?

This is weird. I am in, I am bathed in sunlight right now. I am in shorts and a little t-shirt,

and I'm very warm. So strange.

But that's not what I want to talk about today. I want to talk about faith. And I already

talked about this a little bit because right around the time I turned 40 in September, I decided

to choose a word to work with for an entire year.
