You ever have anyone ask you, how do I determine God's will for my life?

That's a big question.

Or what about your faith?

How does your faith tie in to God's will?

What about a failure of faith?

Like you're trying to live up to what you think God wants you to do,

and all of a sudden right out in the middle of nowhere, you discover you're failing you have fallen on your face what about that well I'm going to do a series of studies

on faith and the will of God and this is in answer to a request that I've had and we're going to

base it on the book of Ephesians which which has a lot to say about that subject.

Ephesians chapter 1. Now, if there is a book in the New Testament that is Paul's great work,

his magnum opus, it is Ephesians. Without the book of Ephesians as a foundational work,

you really wouldn't understand the whole idea about the body of Christ,

which is a very, very important aspect of theology.

What we're going to do today is look in an introductory way at the book of Ephesians,

and then in the weeks to come, we're going to go verse by verse through

this book, which we have done before. But it's been quite some time, and I'm going to look at it in

a way that I have never looked at it before, particularly from the purpose of God's will.
