Hi, everybody. Welcome as my microphone falls off. That's a great way to start to the Mormon newscast. This is a very special edition.

This is a temple edition where we are going to be live streaming starting in just about half an hour,

the planning and zoning meeting from the town of Fairview in Texas where they will be talking about and

discussing and giving a final recommendation on the new application from the LDS Church for the

McKinney, Texas Temple. That is a mouthful. And I have to say, I'm so glad, Bill, that you chose

the Russell Nelson intro, because as you pointed out, Landon, what did you say?

He's the one that announced all of these, so he gets to take credit for all of this that's happening tonight.

You get a temple and you get a temple and you get a, yeah, he is the one.

So tonight we have Bill Real, of course, and we have my co-host on Mormonish fellow Temple Buster Landon Brophy.

I understand he's having trouble getting an Uber or so.

Who knows what he's really doing? But he will be here and we'll be giving commentary and context

throughout the evening, but mostly just listening to the comments from people from the residents of

Fairview, Fairview United. Landon and I have those shirts. And then the LDS members are going to be

dressed in blue. They receive letters from their state presidents and area reps telling them to wear

blue. So they'll be making their comments. It'll be very interesting. I think why don't we,

why don't we pull up just a couple little slides to get everybody up to speed very quickly on what we're going to be

hearing tonight. And I'll just know, Rebecca, I'm actually going to grab my green shirt. I meant to do that. And then I jumped on here to get things ready. So I'll put the slides up.
