weird that you don't hear the music right now isn't it? We are going to get to the

lead up the little intro the hype in a second but I wanted to take a quick

minute to just talk about the Hawks winning the championship this past weekend

the following podcast what you're gonna hear once we get past the intro music here,

is something that was actually recorded a week ago, three, four days prior to the ladies winning the

championship in Minneapolis, something that I actually got to go to to my wife and I decided to take a little a little one day day trip up and back to Minnesota

hit the target center nice arena great spot to have the the women's championship

Iowa fans were crazy they showed out huge big time

uh... Caitlin talked about i think after i think was on senior day

what the iowa fan base

you know obviously the iowa women are doing

they're the product, right? But the fans matter and the fans buying into the team matters

and selling out Carver matters and traveling

to Minneapolis matters and it was crazy to see that in full effect.

That is probably the only time that I am going to get to see Caitlin play in person and this Hawkeye team play in person.

Sort of an opportunity came up and I was like dang.

Seems like a mistake if Caitlin Clark the best player, best athlete potentially in Iowa sports history is, you know, her career is coming to a close and I don't make an effort to go see her at least once so we went and did that.

Thought I jinxed her, thought I was the problem.

She had like four points as we neared halftime and she's only scored under 10 in one game in her entire

career over 130 games and I thought oh my god I came to the championship the

conference championship game this is the one game I'll only ever see of
