But we've got some headlines to start with, as usual, before we get into our players to pick up and we have a big

headline and that just came across this morning the manager of the Baltimore Orioles Brandon Hyde

has been fired this is not unexpected in some ways if you look at the Orioles record, they're sitting 15 and 28.

I think most would have guessed they'd be a lot closer to 28 and 15 at this point.

So this is where you would expect to see a team sit if they're going to fire their manager at this point in the season.

So from that sense, wanting to shake things up makes sense.

But as Dave points out in the chat here, scapegoat, I think that's the feeling that I'm seeing

pretty widespread and I'm feeling pretty similarly about that Brandon Hyde firing as well.

Was it Brandon Hyde who put together this roster? I don't think so. Was it Brandon Hyde who put together this roster? I don't think so.

Was it Brandon Hyde who decided to not have enough extra options when all of the pitchers got injured at once?

You know, maybe you could say actually the team did have decent pitching depth.
