Eric Alterman is spending some time with some family,

which I think both of us will be doing with our respective families a little bit later.

Kind of a delayed Memorial Day weekend for me.

And I know Jason did some yard work who'll be spending some time with

your family a little bit later today yes we're going to uh do we're filling in for the free agent pod

it may not be the exact form that mr eric halterman runs with ryan every weekend but we're

going to name as many free agents as we can to help you guys out this weekend. Of course, we'll have the pieces up on the

site, the AL and the NL free agent pieces up over the weekend to help you out as well. But as normal,

we're going to start with the news. And what we're going to do is tie in some of the news that happened overnight to how that affects some free agent bids.

Because in a couple of cases, it's going to.

And earlier today, the Baltimore Orioles reported that Ryan Mountcastle is being placed on the injured list.

And they're calling up Kobe Mayo.

Mayo is not producing on the farm, and Mountcastle was not producing on the Major League

team, although it was underlying metrics.

Yeah, his underlying metrics weren't terrible.

So, you know, we can talk from a non-free agent sense, but with

my and mountcalf, you know, with every free agent pickup, there's a drop. Are you looking to

drop Ryan Mountcastle at this point in some of your 12 and 15 team mixers? Man, you know, yes,

I have him in AL Labor. And for those that don't know, you can't bench people in
