Hey, hey, hey, you made it to Saturday. Congrats on that. This is one of those weeks where you deserve credit for showing up. You know how they give you like 500 points for signing your name on the SAT.

You get 500 points just for being here on a Saturday.

What a disastrous week it was in the world.

But I found hope this week.

I always say the game ball, the person who wins it, has to contribute something to my.

It's a selfish.

It's a very self-absorbed process.

It's, I'm playing you an interview that stars me, and here I am explaining what it meant to me.

That's how narcissistic and indulgent this Saturday podcast is.

But it always matters to me,

me something from like a perspective I hadn't seen it. You know, this week, we just seemed like

such a rudderless ship as a country with all the Ukraine stuff and the gas price stuff and that

idiot Jesse Smollett getting sentenced to six months in jail, that was actually a win.

But I wanted to find some hope for the audience.

And I felt like we got some out of South Carolina Senator Tim Scott.

He is, of course, running for re-election this year in the Senate, but is the first black American to serve in both houses of Congress.

He was first in the House of Representatives.
