Hello, my brothers and sisters, it is time for the morning mindset.

I'm so thankful that you join me today.

This is our opportunity to get our minds aligned with the truth of God's Word.

My name is Kerry Greene.

I'm your host.

We're going to be walking through John chapter 16 verses 1 through 4 today.

This is Jesus' instruction to His 11 disciples.

The remaining disciples after Judas Iscariot has gone away to betray Him, and He's getting

them ready for what's about to come.

He says in verse 1, I have said all these things to you to keep you from falling away.

They will put you out of the synagogues.

Indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God.

They will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor me.

But I've said these things to you that when their hour comes, you may remember that I told

them to you.

I did not say these things to you from the beginning because I was with you.

Now, friends, do you remember that time in your life when you were learning a trade

or a skill or some sort of a craft, and the person who was teaching you was just so

good at it, and they little by little passed on to you, little tips and skills and helpful

pieces of information that taught you how to do it, moving toward the level that they

were doing.

Well, that's the scenario that we're in here.
