I think I'm getting used to the cold weather now. I'm not, you know what, I was thinking I needed to get a shawl or something. I was like an old woman you know.

Ah. Thank you are listening to fighting for the faith. My name is Chris Rosebrough and I am

your servant in Jesus Christ and this is the program that dishes up a daily dose of biblical discernment, the goal of

which is to get you to think biblically, to get you to think critically, and to compare

what people are saying in the name of God to the word of God. It's an important job

that we do here at fighting for the faith day in and day out and I have to warn you

ahead of time like I've warned people in the past this is not some glib little

warning that I'm trying to throw out there to sound edgy it's a bona fide

warning and that is is that listening to this program could cause you to become supremely dissatisfied with your church.

It could cause you to want to switch Bible colleges.

It could become disruptive for your life and the reason I say

that is because there's a lot of people in Christianity in the in the visible church

invisible churchy Christian institutions that aren't doing their job.

Instead, they, what is their job by the way?

Their job is to preach Christ and Him crucified from every passage of scripture.

Believe it or not, it's the center message.

It's the overarching theme of the entire Bible.

And they're supposed to preach the gospel, the good news of Christ crucified for your sins to you even if you've been a
