Militarized drones have drastically changed the battlefield,

but the rapidly evolving technology is also creating new and challenging threats here at home.

Detecting and deterring potential attacks from above will become a top priority

for national security officials in the coming weeks as the country is preparing for large-scale

public events this summer, including the World Cup, the UFC match scheduled to take place

on the White House South Lawn June 14th. Earlier this week, I spoke with Brett Velikovych, a drone expert,

former Delta Force intelligence analyst, and Fox News contributor

about these threats and whether security officials here are ready for them.

Velikovych explained how the bad guys attain them,

learn how to operate them, and could use them against us.

He also discussed how the war between Ukraine and Russia and the U.S. conflict with Iran

are teaching our adversaries how effective drones can be.
