Amy Madigan sets a record for most years between nominations, 40, both for Best Supporting Actress. Best casting is the first new category since Best Animated Feature in 2001. Neil Rosen, good to meet, man. Thanks for coming in. It is my pleasure. It is my pleasure, Chris. Well, let's start a little broadly. What kind of movie year was it for you as a critic? Good, bad, meh. I don't think this was a good year for movies. I mean, usually when I do a top 10 list at the end of the year, on a good year, I'm like, all right, I got to eliminate this, I got to eliminate that, you know, because it's ten, you know? This year I decided to do on my roundtable critic show, I said, let's just all do our top three movies. So you couldn't even stretch it to ten? I couldn't stretch it to ten. I mean, it was really, I go, this is just not a bad movie, but it's not

worthy on being on a top ten list. So I would say not a good year for movies. The Oscars, obviously,

the big two, are one battle after another in Senters. There's never been a more head-to-head

matchup at the Oscars. They're up against each other in 11 categories.
